ROOMS
We propose 3 bedrooms in the self catering apartment on the 1st floor of our house (independent access via an outside staircase). Each bedroom is kitted out with a double bed, with the possibility of putting a single mattress on the floor. Each bedroom is rented individually. The kitchen, sitting room and bathroom facilities are shared.

APPARTMENT
We propose a studio on the side of our house (independent access) . There are 2 single beds that can be connected to form a double bed. It’s also possible to provide additional mattresses on the floor. A baby cot and changing station are also available. The bathroom is en suite. During the day we reserve the right to use the kitchen on the ground floor. We only accept last minute reservations as we prioritise family and friends who wish to stay.
⚠️Rather steep alternating tread stairs and dry toilets.

KITHCEN AND GROCERY
Every type of accommodation (be it the bedrooms, studio or camping) has its own fully equipped kitchen. We propose at cost price local products including pre-cooked meals ready to heat up.
ReSTAURANTS AT Rostrenen
3 minutes by car, 10 minutes by bike, 30 minutes by foot, you will find numerous restaurants:
- Pizza and daily specials : Le Kumquat, la Grotte
- Crêperie : La Rozell
- Fish & chips / hamburgers : Pub Ti Devine’s
- Kebab & falafel : Kebab d’or
- Gourmet option: Le Bistro qui Coz, Chez Erwan
There are also Isa and Gab’s famous crêpes on the canal, at the écluse 150 (open from april to september for 11 am to 6 pm)


RestAURANTS FURTHER AWAY
These are our favourite restaurants that merit the trip.
- L’Atelier bistrot at Langoëlan : delicious gourmet home made meals, fantastic old world decoration, compettiive prices thursday and friday midday.
- Crêperie de Pont Min at Gourin : delicious crêpes, good value for money.
- Au Moulin de Pont Samoel at Silfiac : fast food cooked by an English couple (fish an chips, pizza, hamburgers…), beautiful setting by a lake.
- Olrun at Guéméné : delicious vegan meals.
- Le Grand Manger at the Faoüet : daily specials made with local products with vegetarian options.
- Le Sant Trifin at Sainte Tréphine : open midday, good value for money

Pat proposes a visit of the workshop and the possibility to pick up an order. find out more about his work :the creation of bike bags and accessories. The fabrics are sought out from the circular economy. It’s not always easy to coincide work and family life while workingfrom home,. Contact us in advance to organise a visit.

If you have the opportunity to go to a Fest Noz, go for it, it’s not to be missed! And here are some other exemples of festive events in the area :
- Music : the famous Festival Fisel at Rostrenen (end of august), the concerts of La Grande Boutique, as well as the Vieilles Charrues and Motocultor in Carhaix.
- The Film Documentary Festival at Mellionnec as well as their one off showings.
- Lieux mouvants, a summer long festival featuring theatre, exhibitions, meet and greets and the arts.

COME AND VISIT US IN Rostrenen

We live in Rostrenen, at the heart of Centre Brittany (=Kreiz Breizh). Our house is situated 1km from the GR37, 4km from the Nantes to Brest canal (from the lock 150), from the Vélodyssée or the bike lane 6.
